Two "Halloween" Babies before Christmas

Well, I had intended to create two babies that would be ready for adoption in time for Halloween, but I joined a couple swaps and didn't spend the kind of time on my reborns to sell that I needed in order to finish them in time.  No matter, I wanted to take my time and make sure they were created properly.

Introducing Count VonCount from Sesame Street and Edward Scissorhands from the Tim Burton movie "Edward Scissorhands" starring Johnny Depp.

Their auctions can be viewed here:  Count VonCount and Edward Scissorhands

Aayla Secura

I've created my first Star Wars reborn: Jedi Knight Aayla Secura (can be seen in "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" and "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith".

She is the first reborn with unusual skin tone that I have painted.  I'm pleased with the way she turned out.  I created her from the "Skeeter" fairy sculpt by Donna Rubert.  She has 16mm glass oval eyes and a custom made body and matching lekku (head tails).  I also custom made her outfit, including the little light saber!

Here is the character that inspired my reborn:

And here is my reborn:

Aayla is currently available for adoption.

Mother's Day Swap

I am part of an online reborning forum known as R.E.A.L (Reborning Excellence & Artful Learning) where I participated in my first (and probably only) reborn swap.  Here is the baby I created for my swap partner, Debbie.  This is Shyleen by Petra Lechner.  I made all the clothes except the socks and bib (I even made the shoes including the Crocs).

This is the baby I got from my swap partner, Karen Valtin of Blue Fairy Babies.  This is Gabriel By Michelle Fagan.  I'll be making Han Solo and Indiana Jones costumes for him!

Where's the babies???

I realize that I have only posted one reborn baby on my blog so far.  You may be wondering where the babies are??!  I am currently working on 3 soon to be 5 dolls, all in various stages.  The doll that I have nearest to completion is actually for a contest, so I cannot post him until the contest is over.  During the wait, you might like to take a look at my Annie in progress.  She still needs the rest of her hair:

Finished Precious Berenguer

I finished my first reborn, a Precious kit by Berenguer.  This one went to a very distinguished client: my 2-year old son!
